EcoFlow’s Delta Pro, will it destroy camping as we know it?

EcoFlow is a company that specialises in portable power stations. The new EcoFlow Delta Pro is their flagship product, and it is a powerful and versatile power station that can be used for various purposes, including camping, backup power, and off-grid living.

While we have seen the slow improvement of portable battery systems over the last decade, recent trends have seen more exponential growth. This is a great advancement for those looking to have more freedom in their independent energy capabilities, especially for fans of camping and the outdoors.

This fast charging system allows a full charge of 3,4kW in only 1.7 hours which is a great improvement to the olden times – when charging was a long exercise.

This same EV port, called the “infinity port”, combines AC input and output, so you get fast-speed charging and connect to other charging systems like their Smart Home Solar Panel set-up.

A universal charging port means way fewer extra adapters and cables, thus removing most, if not all, of the frustration we may experience when setting up a system remotely, especially if we leave that one key cable back at home and are stuck in the dark. EcoFlow has facilitated the compatibility of the Delta Pro with 90% of portable solar panels on the market for those looking to stay off-grid for longer periods.

They manufacture a 1600W panel setup that can charge the Delta Pro for as little as 2.8 hours. So now we can stay camping for many days or weeks with the comfort of available lights and power.

The only thing I can rack my brain to find as limitations is that the Delta Pro does not include wireless charging, so those hoping to go cordless may have to wait a little longer.
