KDEC’s partnership, heart, and souls are Cam and Chelsey. Locals of Albury/Wodonga grew up in the neighbourhood and created their company with the neighbourhood in mind.

The two founded C&C Walker Electrical with a business-minded approach and an enterprising spirit.

Chelsey was naturally good with statistics, and Cam had become a talented electrician through his training with the Australian Navy. KDEC, a well-known local company that had been operating since the 1990s, used C&C Walker Electrical as a subcontractor.

When KDEC was put up for sale in 2008, Cam and Chelsey viewed it as a chance to serve Albury/Wodonga in an even greater and better way by purchasing the company.

For Cam and Chelsey, KDEC represents family, passion, quality, and integrity. There were just 6 employees with expertise in data and fibre optics when they acquired KDEC. Since then, KDEC has expanded into general electrical and solar power installations, employing 27 people.
