About

Hines Electrix has been in the renewable field since 2009. Matt and Sonya Hines are the directors. They deal in Solar PV, grid connect and off grid, and electrical contracting (commercial/domestic/ security).

Matt is the sole designer/installer/electrician. Matt takes regular trips to Melbourne for training seminars and has almost completed a Cert IV in renewable energy. Matt holds an Electrician/contractor license, CEC accreditation and also a Security equipment installers license.

Hines Electrix always carries out a suneye shade analysis prior to every quote so customers always know what a given system will produce for them. They provide free assessments and quotes service and always provide a shade report and design report at the quote stage.

They provide services in Northeast Vic (Alpine shire towns + Beechworth, Wangaratta) and have completed over 300 installs in the past 12 years, with most being designed and installed by Matt only and the others in conjunction with Copper K Plumbing.

For grid connect systems, Hines Electrix only uses Enphase micro inverter systems and are 1 of only 2 Enphase Platinum Installers in Victoria.
