Next Door Electrical

Why Choose Next Door Electrical?

Next Door Electrical is a Bundaberg-based electrical contractor with a simple pitch: fast, reliable service from people who live and work in the community. They describe themselves as “not the biggest sparky in town”, and their focus is on doing the job properly the first time and earning repeat customers across the neighbourhood. The team brings more than 10 years on the tools. It’s led by owner Jack, with a small crew and Taylah looking after customer communication. They’re fully licensed and insured, carrying public liability and professional indemnity cover, and their licence details appear on every quote and invoice.

The business covers a broad range of residential electrical work, with a strong emphasis on energy. Their solar and battery service means sizing, installing and tuning systems to suit each home, followed by monitoring and upgrades such as larger inverters. They’re SAA-accredited and also handle urgent solar repairs. They install EV chargers for homes and commercial sites, single or three-phase, hardwired or socketed, working with brands including Tesla, EVNEX and Sigenergy. They also supply and install split and ducted air conditioning, service multi-head systems, and upgrade switchboards, including safety work and compliance audits that bring older boards up to current standards. General electrical work and emergency callouts round out the offering.

What sets them apart is how they work with customers. They give honest advice rather than pushing upsells, and reviewers regularly say they never felt sold to. Written quotes come before any work starts, and if the scope changes, they tell the customer first. They service a 50km radius from the Bundaberg CBD with no travel fees, covering suburbs such as Bargara, Avoca, Kalkie, Kepnock, Thabeban, Burnett Heads and Innes Park. They’re open seven days a week from 7am to 7pm, offer same-day service, and have finance options for solar, batteries, air conditioning and electrical work.
