NSW Solar Battery Rebate Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the rebate:

- Your battery’s nominal capacity should be between 2 kWh and 28 kWh.
- Installation must be done by an Accredited Certificate Provider (ACP).
- The program is open from 1 November 2024 onward.

How Is the Rebate Calculated?

- Rebate Amount: PRCs are multiplied by the current market price (around $2.38 per certificate).
- Extra Incentives: Earn an extra $250–$400 for connecting to a VPP.

- Must be on the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) approved list.
- Usable capacity between 2 kWh and 28 kWh.
